Angie’s Kettle Corn
                    
This company has graciously donated bags of kettle corn for our major events as well as to the heart families we meet through our hospital outreach program.

Faith’s Lodge
          
This organization provides a safe environment for those grieving a child or for those with a seriously ill child. Lasting Imprint will be sponsoring six families each year to stay at this beautiful lodge. If you are interested in attending please fill out our application as well as the appropriate Faith’s Lodge application and return both to Kristen Thomas. This organization provides free photography services to families who are unsure of the outcome of their child’s life. Locate a photographer in your area to capture every moment with your child.

Newborn Coalition/1in100
      
The Newborn Coalition and 1in100 are working together to fight for our babies by advocating for mandatory pulse ox screening. What is pulse ox? Pulse oximetry measures oxygen in the blood through a non-invasive, inexpensive test that takes only minutes and can sometimes detect heart defects. Lasting Imprint encourages anyone interested in this method of early detection to check out the work of these great organizations!

Help Me Grow
  
MNParentsKnow is an innovative web resource filled with convenient and trusted child development, health and parenting information hosted by the Minnesota Department of Education. Lasting Imprint is teaming up with this organization to get this great resource out to heart families through our CHD Family Kits. Information will be provided on services offered under the “Help Me Grow” program which are designed for children birth to kindergarten who may be experiencing delays in their development for several reasons, including special health conditions.

Camp Odayin
          
Camp Odayin provides fun, safe and supportive camp experiences and community building opportunities for young people with heart disease and their families. Lasting Imprint will be sponsoring six families each year to attend Camp Odayin. If you are interested in attending please fill out our application below and return to Kristen Thomas. Adult Congenital Heart Association
          
The Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA) is a nonprofit organization that seeks to improve the quality of life and extend the lives of adults with congenital heart defects. Through education, outreach, advocacy and promotion of research, ACHA serves and supports the more than one million adults with congenital heart defects, their families and the medical community.

CaringBridge
          
CaringBridge is a nonprofit offering many ways for people to care for each other during any type of health event. People are able to stay connected, leave hopeful messages, and offer support. CaringBridge offers personal sties, a Support Planner and an online volunteer community, the Amplifier Hub. Thanks to those who donate, CaringBridge is available to anyone, anywhere at no cost.

Young Adult Heart Foundation
          
This organization provides emotional support and guidance to young adult heart patients. They have support groups, provide emotional support and can help provide educational materials regarding insurance applications, state funding, and hospital aide.

Family Voices of Minnesota
          
Family Voices of Minnesota: We are families of children, youth and young adults with special health care needs and disabilities helping other families navigate systems of care.

Parent to Parent matches families of children or youth with special health care needs or disabilities with an experienced Volunteer Support Parent who has received specialized training. Parent to Parent is a valuable source of assistance and information for parents because they can talk with an experienced parent who really understands. Families look to Parent to Parent for help such as: resources, financial supports, similar experiences, and a listening ear.

PACER Center
          
PACER’s Family-to-Family Health Information Center (F2F HIC) provides a central source for MN families of children and young adults with special health care needs and disabilities to obtain support, advocacy, and information about the health care system.

juDanzy is a mom-run business that strives to offer fashionable, high-quality products at reasonable prices. Lasting Imprint is excited to include leg warmers from juDanzy in our CHD Family Kits.
