Laura Peterson is the mother of two strong little girls- one heart warrior and her older sister. During the early years of her daughter’s hospitalizations and surgeries Lasting Imprint played a key role in helping her to navigate what seemed like impossible obstacles. Now that her daughter Miriam is in a healthier place, she is committed to giving back to other families as they navigate their own journey with CHD. Laura is the Executive Director of the Living Earth Center, a Mankato based non-profit committed to bringing people together to share common ground and grow healthy food and relationships through the management of the Living Earth Community Garden and the Blue Earth County Community Farm. Laura is grateful for all of the love and support of her local community and is hopeful that she can pay that support forward through her role on the Lasting Imprint Board.
